Trevor Goul-Wheeker - Chief Executive

Trevor was appointed CEO in December 2004 having been an Executive Director at WHSmith. Previously, he was Non-Executive Chairman of Knowledge Support Systems plc, where he was instrumental in returning cash to shareholders, and Managing Director, Hammicks Bookshops Ltd, which was sold in 2003 following a major turnaround programme. His career also has encompassed a number of senior executive positions in Gestetner and Unilever, where Trevor ran both UK and International Divisions with significant sales into the health, education and institutional sectors.

Gary Cox - Group Finance and IT Director

Gary was appointed as Finance and IT Director in August 2006. Gary is a chartered accountant with extensive audit experience having spent 17 years with Deloitte & Touche in South Africa and then four years with Smith & Williamson in London. Prior to joining Reed HealthCare, Gary was Group Finance Director of Swiis Group, having previously been their auditor for two years. Gary's knowledge of the social care and recruitment business in general will be of great value to the company.

Steve Cheetham - Executive Director, Reed Health & Reed Doctor

Steve was previously Divisional Managing Director of Managed Services at Hays Commercial Services Ltd, prior to the divestment of this business. He joined Hays Commercial Services when they acquired Axis Resources Ltd in 1998, following a successful MBO from the Tompkins Group plc. Steve played a senior role in the development of the Axis Resources business and MBO. Prior to this, his career has spanned numerous senior management roles in business process outsourcing and in the payroll and human resource business sector.

Carmel Malley - Executive Director, Reed Social Care and Reed Nurse

Carmel was appointed as Executive Director for Reed Social Care and Reed Nurse in June 2006 and brings with her extensive experience of the NHS and Domiciliary Care. Having originally qualified as a nurse, she joined BNA in 1996 as Branch Manager and stayed with BNA/Nestor for eight and a half years, rising from Branch Manager to Field Manager to Regional Director to Director of NHS. Her last role at Nestor was that of Head of Occupational Services. Carmel then joined Allied as Operations Director before leaving in 2005 to set up her own consultancy business, principally advising compnaies on NHS legislative and contractual requirements and CSCI complinace policies and procedures.

James Reed – Non Executive Director

James was appointed to the Board in July 2001. He is currently the Chief Executive of Reed Executive plc. He had previously worked as Group Chief Operating Officer and Operations Director of Reed Employment.

Derek Beal - Non Executive Director

Derek Beal is a Chartered Accountant and has spent the last 15 years of his career in recruitment. He serves as a Director of Reed Personnel Services plc and therefore cannot be considered an independent Non-Executive Director.
